DX-Pedition
Award, the aim of the DXPA is to encourage and reward the amateur
radio traffic with Dxpeditions. Organized and sponsored by the CLIPPERTON
DX CLUB, it is available to any licensed OM or SWL.
RULE 1 - Definition : An expedition, in
respect to this award, is a temporary activity, achieved by a duely authorized
individual or group to a place where activity is either nil or limited. The
list
of countries to which and expedition is automaticallly taken into account
for the DXPA may be modified by the board of the
CLIPPERTON
DX CLUB in case of changes in the DXCC list, or if the activity becomes
too important. Only the expeditions to these countries will be valid, including
those temporarily using a resident's callsign. In some cases, a resident's
activity can also be credited (most sought after DXCC countries). The C.DX.C
reserves itself the right to reject any operation, if it is not authorized, or
if it does not comply with courtesy and ham-spirit.
RULE 2 - Qualification rules : The DXPA is
available in 3 modes (mixed, Phone, CW), for QSO made or heard with 50
expeditions. The number of expeditions credited is limited to 2 for a same DXCC
Country. All 5 continents must be represented. The honnor DXPA will be awarded
to the station able to justify 35 QSO with expeditions per band, on at last 5 of
the HF bands. The QSO need to be confirmed by QSL. Photocopies of both side of
QSL have to go along with the application form. The cost of the DXPA is € 8,
US$ 10 or IRC's 10. The application form is availabel with SASE or one IRC to
secretary of the CLIPPERTON DX CLUB.
