After several years and a lot of attempts, the GLORIOSOS 2009 DXpedition is on the go :

This is the first Official press release sent to day by Didier, F5OGL, team leader.

PRESS RELEASE Number 1:

A team  of French Forces operators ( 3 or 4) along with two SIRPA journalists (French Forces Public Relations and Informations services)  are going to Gloriosos Islands between July 9-29.

Some documentaries are to be filmed while they will  stay on the Islands; The common  thread of these documentaries will be the DXpédition itself.

The crew will be active from 160 to 6 meters using numerous modes as CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK and as many other digital modes as possible.

The callsign (an original one is claimed ) will be indicated only when the crew will land the main Island.

Crew :  F5PRU, F5IRO, F5TLN . For F4EGS or F5RQQ , the participation is pending.

3 stations with traffic  as longer as possible are scheduled.

Thanks to the Provins ARC, F6KOP and F4AJQ for lending the most part of the gear which will be used.
